    The celebration program of the day is full of events and guests.
    Celebrations of All Ukraine Bicycle Day (Veloden') takes place not only in the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, but in other Ukrainian cities: Vinnytsia, Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Lutsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Odesa, Kharkiv, Chernihiv and others. (http://www.bikeday.org.ua).

    During this day, the center of Kyiv, starting from the European Square, will become a human chain of thousands of cyclists.

    Bycicle parade promotes healthy and active lifestyle and an environmental alternative to a car.

    Official representatives of foreign states are invited to support the Ukrainian Day of cyclists. During the event they will ride the bikes on Kyiv streets, flying their countries flags.

    Bicycle Day usually starts at the European Square, when all the riders begin to gather. The bicycle column moves along the route: European Suare - Khreshchatyk Street - Bessarabs'ka Square - Velyka Vasyl'kivs'ka Street - L'va Tolstoho Square - Volodymyrs'ka Street - Mychailivs'ka Square.

    Ukrainian world music festival "Kraina Mriy" is the International Musical Folk Festival. It runs during a few days every year since 2004 in Kyiv (Ukraine).

    The main idea of the festival is a revival of the traditional Ukrainian culture, support of modern musical ethnic styles, introduction of elements of ethnos of different people to the Ukrainians and guests of the country.

    Initiator, the founder and the artistic director of the festival is Oleg Skrypka, the leader of the legendary Ukrainian rock band Vopli Vidopliasova or VV (www.vopli.com.ua). The title song written by the band ("Kraina Mriy" – "Land Of Dreams") gave the name to this International Ethnic Festival.

    The Festival location is Spivoche Pole. It is a nice and large open area on the hills of the river Dnipro. Action takes a place as a folk walking fair. There are several different stages: Folk stages, Kobza players stage, Workshop of folk dances, Child’s meadow, Alley of Masters, Cossack entertainments, Exhibition of folk painting, Book’s fair, Ethnic cuisines, Literature stage and Evening stage, where lots of different activities go on.
