Site of late paleolith man - Dobranychivska stoyanka - Archaeological Museum
The museum was founded in 1997 at the site, where the Paleolithic Archaeological Institute of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences has been carrying on the excavations from 1952 to 1973. The settlement of primitive people of Upper Paleolithic period (15 thousand years old) has been found during these excavations.
The remains of four houses have been found and examined, as well as barns with the bones of wild animals, four economic and industrial centers with fires and places of bone and stone processing. The remains of the fourth economic complex are on display in their original form. It is also possible to see tools of primitive people and things of everyday life at the museum. A female statuette, made of amber, has a particular value.
