Location of the city on Europes third largest river which originates in Central Russia and empties into the Black Sea, permits the development of river transport. The main activity of the Kyiv River Port is the extraction and realisation of sand-macadam production. The location of the port in the central part of the city makes it very convenient for cargo delivery.
