At lunch time representatives of right-wing political forces are going to organize an action "Freedom can not be stopped" on Maidan Nezalezhnosti. Representatives of the Dictatorship Resistance Committee urge everybody who is willing to come on Tuesday, November 22nd at 17pm to Lukianivka prison in Kyiv, where Yulia Tymoshenko is held.
From there, the opposition plans to go to the Independence Square (Maidan Nezalezhnosti). Meanwhile, Kyiv's main square Maidan Nezalezhnosti is enclosed by metal shields. The intensified duty detail of militia is patrolling over there. People are not allowed in the area. According to the Kyiv City Administration preparations for the New Year celebrations are in progress on Independence Square. So they offer to celebrate the anniversary of the revolution in any other place.
Svitlana Zorina, the Head of the Directorate of Culture and Arts KSCA says: "We are always preparing an order for the New Year celebrations in August. Frankly speaking, while planning this order in August, we are in no way could imagine that something will happen again on the Square. Nobody knew that this public holiday will be celebrated on Maidan. It is not indicated in the Presidential Decree that it should happen on Maidan. There is another square opposite. What kind of problem is that? "
