I recently visited to Ukraine and stayed at centrally located "business" hotel, a few blocks from the main walking street and near the embankment of the Bug River, in an off-the-path city in southern Ukraine. It has a swimming pool and restaurant, but no elevator. The entry is up a flight of steps. Receptionists spoke a little English and were very helpful. We stayed in a renovated double room (203) that was clean, large, with high ceiling, air-conditioning and non-smoking. Because of the high ceilings, the flights of stairs between floors are long. It is quite a hike to rooms on the third floor. Room charge included breakfast, which was marginally acceptable. We stayed two nights. Our room cost us USD 95 per night. It was reasonably priced.
